I'm seeing and hearing too many conservative commentators concede 2-10 percent figures without knowing what published studies actually say. Do your homework.

I usually use the FBI data, which puts it between 6-8% (depending on year), but keep in mind that those are just demonstrably false accusations, and does not include unverifiable cases. It also doesn't account for unreported rapes, which can't be known.
-
Exactly this. While difficult, all it takes is a victim testimony to convict. There’s a number of men in prison right now that are innocent for this.
-
My husband is 1 of those men. Wrongfully convicted of rape in 1976, ALL evidence proves he is innocent yet he’s still fighting for freedom. http://freeronnielong.org

Keep fighting! Following you now.

Thank you! He has great attorneys. They just filed an excellent opening brief in the 4th circuit as well as 2 amiscus briefs w/ tons of support. Science does not lie. Ronnie Long is INNOCENT!

Many false report allegations are discovered prior to a police officer filing an offense report. The report, if one is even made, will be for something else and not tracked as a “false sexual assault”.

In family court, every damn case has false allegations of abuse etc. Nearly all false.
-
As a former abused spouse I really resent your allegations. I was physically and mentally tortured, but no one believed me. Then came the second wife. And finally the Feds had to intervene. He's now in prison, but too late. His six kids by two wives are all messed up.
-
I'm sorry all that happened to you, but it does not in the least diminish the truth of what I said. 75% of investigated abuse claims in family court are unfounded. I myself had to fight through 8 of them- yes 8 false claims- to win custody of my girls, which I did.
-
Your figure is false. You had a bad experience with an angry woman, but I never even asked for alimony or child support. I didn't accuse him of violence even. I just wanted to survive and keep my children safe. 75% is too high a number. Not backed by facts. I might imagine 10%.

Read to your heart's content. It was a study of all investigated claims.https://dadsdivorce.com/articles/false-allegations-of-abuse-in-child-custody-cases/ …

Recall the adage it is better to let 100 guilty people go free than to convict 1 innocent person
-
Some feminists want us to change the “innocent until proven guilty” to “guilty until proven innocent “ and put the burden on the accused to prove his innocence . People will eventually accuse each other without bringing up proof. An accusation is sufficient to ruin a man’s life
