Good luck explaining that 20+% of every single class is legacy admissions.

I'm against legacy preferences at taxpayer-funded public universities -- just like Ward Connerly, author of California's racial preference referendum CCRI.

So if I am hearing you correctly. Private universities (the schools that actually have legacy admissions) are right to use the system.

Harvard is not the best university in the world or in the United States anymore. Harvard is looking more like a joke each and every day.

Interesting claim, but do you mind explaining how so? What would you say is the preeminent university (or universities) today that make Harvard look like a joke in comparison?

Alabama can take on Harvard. America prefers more common sense than Harvard bull crap. Maybe you should come down here and learn from Alabama folks. Ask this: why has Bush 43 and Obama (both Harvard grads) had such poor records as President? Can you tell me that?

<sigh>...So a *state* can “take on” a university?? Wtf does that even mean? What Harvard “bull crap” are you talking about? Is your argument (haha!) that Bush 43 and Obama had “poor records” BECAUSE they went to Harvard? The Roosevelts and JFK too? Evidence for said poor records?

Oliver, times were different with Roosevelts and JFK. I've looked at Harvard firsthand. I'm not impressed. My argument isn't entirely based on them going to Harvard, Bush 43 couldn't handle a war correctly. Obama was too focused on himself throughout his Presidency. There's more

As for your other statements: the correct way to handle the wars in Bush’s case would’ve been to not get into them. The notion that Obama was too focused on himself during his presidency also seems without merit, but even if I grant the point, it would be easily parried

Oliver, I don't know if you are a liberal. To me, Obama committed treason by making the Iran Deal cause I didn't want it because I know the Iranian government is so corrupt. Watch Obama speeches and he's all about himself and the elitists and globalists, not the people.

If the Japanese are so smart, why are they in hock up to their wazoos? China is even worse and they have no accurate total on their debt, both governmental and private. The United States leads in patents granted and in many fields technology, Japan is second. Europe... 3rd.

They want to go to Harvard, they are up to their eyeballs in debt and all the Chinese take out around here is awful, the last being their greatest sin.
