As someone whose career is in IT staffing I can tell you in most cases H1’s are not taking Americans jobs. There simply aren’t enough Americans capable of doing the job.

You’re absolutely correct. I’ve seen first hand, tech companies are offering salaries WAY above market to incentivize people to work for them. Qualified, experienced H1B workers making the same as anyone, if not more. Look in metro areas with strong tech sectors, you’ll see.

We had two open full time positions and couldn’t hire any in six months, eventually that job shifted outside USA..

I see you don't really care about Americans being replaced weekly by the FLOWN IN HB1 VISA CLOWNS.... Because that's your CORPORATE CLOWNS FLYING THEM IN!!! ...and they OVERSTAY THEIR VISAS... being the largest group of illegal immigrants! MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, INTEL, APPLE, ORACLE!

I was ordered by Siemens ICN corp mgmt to train my foreign replacements. I had 3 trainees. Each learned a different facet of my job. Awful experience. I gave them years of negative press. They paid a price.http://www.cio.com/article/2442090/offshoring/the-growing-backlash-of-offshoring-it-jobs.html …

I would’ve told them you do it!

Raising 2 kids,1 w/spina-bifida/hydrocephalus (28 surgeries to date)I wasn't going to just leave a paying contract;left mid-training when I got another job. Then,I went public with their decision to replace staff w/foreign replacemnt wrkrs Our emmy serieshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJlesZ9popA …

My job and 350 others will be eliminated by june next year. We will be replaced by cheap 3rd party contractors, some overseas...and no i dont watch news at all anymore. Get my facts from a handful of conservatives i can trust. Like MM ;-)

I was let go soon after turning 40 and after several stellar reviews. On my way out, all the H1b people in my group wished me luck. Whoever says work visa people are not replacing American workers have their heads up their a$$.

Why does
#H1B dominate 75% of Silicon Valley tech workforce? Report says http://bayareane.ws/2DdU12R via@mercnews Only 25% Americans = zombie apocalypse? Think Globally, Hire Locally.#HireAmerican#KeepAmericaWorking#hiremenotH1B#AmericaFirst#demandingFairness#AmericanWorkers -

Please help remove HR392 from DHS funding bill.
@RepKevinYoder added HR392 as amendment to DHS funding bill. HR392 removes country cap in Green card allocation and it would make cheap labor Indian H1Bs to get lions share of Green card forever. Please stop this. -
Hr392 is needed to keep talented workers. We want the best minds and best brains to come to US and add value to the economy. Need HR392.

#H1B not only replacing#AmericanWorkers at low level function, but in ANY level, undermine salary, & diminish
leadership in Tech because #entitledCheapLabors#discriminate#AmericanSTEM by ONLY hiring among themselves. This is an#invasion.#wakeUpAmerica#endH1B#endH4EADThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Thank you Michelle!
#H1B has been nothing but a cheap labor scam, and one hacked by low tier workers from India. Congress ain’t doing squat to change it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

H1B is the corporate version of the southern border. Walk thru any IT department today and you'd be forgiven for thinking you are in India.
-
The difference is corporations may buy as many crossings as they want by lying about the IT shortage.
