I didn't even think the Aunt Lydia 'Handmaid's Tale' reference was about looks - I thought it was referring to a person who knows deep down they're doing evil but justifies their actions because it's for the government in power - regardless of who is suffering or being hurt.

A good sense of humor is a sign of intelligence. A good roast joke should make everyone cringe, & then laugh, hard. The ability to take a joke speaks to your self-esteem. The comments to the press were political commentary. Sometimes the truth is hard to hear but it WAS truth.
