It seems like the Southwest Airlines situation, the railroad companies’ refusal on sick days and ongoing supply chain issues all stem from the same systemic failure to build slack into logistics order to maximize profits. Am I oversimplifying?

This is such a disappointment. We shouldn’t be leaving people out in the cold on technicalities. They did the work, they want a union. Find a way.

We’re disappointed to announce the withdrawal of our NLRB petition. More than enough folks signed to constitute a showing of interest, but the NLRB determined that the petition was invalid because we had not yet chosen a name for our union when we began collecting signatures.

I think what bothers me about the Howard Feels So Bad stuff is that, sorry, your bad feelings do not mean you get to violate the law. Your bad feelings do not make the union bad. Your bad feelings are not the responsibility of your employees to manage.

Sincerely, without snark: Howard’s sense of despair about the union is something he should work on with his therapist. I don’t doubt he’s genuinely upset. I also don’t care - his outbursts are harming a lot of people and that’s a problem.

NEW from me: The Twitter feed is a pressure campaign from labor lawyers & organizers who are frustrated by the slowness of cases at the NLRB, which is SCOTUS for labor law. Few major cases reversing Trump board decisions have been decided.

Evidence I have a nice and good life is that I went through this list looking for people I know like “hell yeah give it to him pal.”

Remember the disaster at the Mannington mine Where seventy-eight good miners so uselessly died Oh, don't follow your daddy to the Mannington mine. How can God forgive you, you do know what you've done. You've killed my husband, now you want my son.

Today in 1968, a total of 78 miners were killed in an explosion at the Consolidated Coal Company's No. 9 mine in Farmington, #WestVirginia in the Farmington Mine disaster. cc: @MineWorkers @AFLCIO @WestVirginiaAFL

Fun fact. If you’re on an h1b visa and lose your job (or a supervillain takes over your company) - you have 60 days to find a new job to sponsor you (an outrageous Byzantine process) or else you & your family gets kicked out of the country. Twitter basically has hostages 🫠

One year ago today, the campaign went national. Starbucks thought they could isolate and stamp out the union in Buffalo, but a group of brave workers in Mesa, AZ stood up and paved the way for every store after them.

We are so excited to be joined by our fellow partners at the Power and Baseline store in Arizona, who just filed for a union election with the NLRB today!
