Keeping this guy locked up (or not) is not going to change the fact of his crime. It is going to give him a chance for redemption.

Not against redemption. But this celebratory tone might mean more coming from someone who hasn't let crime become rampant across the city to the point that stores have to close.

I left SF after being chased down the street and robbed twice in four years. I ended up walking home with mace in my hand everyday. The cops said their hands were tied. Hard nope. It’s dumb fodder for Fox News at this point.

In 1 instance, I had the thief’s phone #. I didn’t see her steal my stuff, but her friends did. They wouldn’t volunteer info bc THEY had legal issues. SF is a mess. It loves to think that it can help people, but how? So they can somehow survive a city w $8 toast & $7k rent?
