Appreciate the name check, think this is exactly right: "Any reader of Landslide, about the final days of the Trump presidency, will see that [Trump's] unsuitability is a matter of psychology, not ideology — of character, not politics."

Honestly, so good. The Time stuff is just great, everyone I work with needs to read, content is king, if only. Have Autumn of Mogels and 2 & 3 of the Trump series on my reading pile. Admire your writing and window on history.
Thank you very much.

@MichaelWolffNYC Reading Burn Rate. It’s wonderful. Firstly it’s such fun and so well written - I’m a fan, I’ve also read F&F and The Man Who.. - secondly, so many parallels with web3, thirdly I work in music for YouTube, we still have curated vs Algo conversations 30 years on!

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his resignation Thursday following multiple controversies.
In 2004, spent time with the then Tory M.P., examining the "politics of letting Boris be Boris." Revisit the profile from the #VFArchive:

Someone named Andy Dunn has written a book about his start-up experience titled Burn Rate. Extremely hard to fathom that he'd feel proud about taking that title. Book's publisher, , doesn't apparently give a shit either.

Curious that the NYT now lets its author-reporters write their own breaking news stories about their own books. See today:

@MichaelWolffNYC Hello Michael, this might seem untimely, but... I would like to ask you if it's OK to translate your article from 2010(!) on @WIRED, titled "The Web Is Dead. Long Live the Internet" for non-profit purpose. I've been trying to contact you but to no avail!

Michael Wolff's Too Famous contains a great piece about Rolling Stone and founder Jann Wenner -- Cultural non-entities riding boomer delusion.

One of mine is definitely Holter Graham. His narration of Michael Wolff's audiobooks (which we publish) is spot on; the way he voices Trump is a masterstroke. His single person narration of Stephen King's Christine is brilliantly chilling. I'll listen to anything from him.

anyone else have a narrator that will automatically make you go for the audiobook even if you were originally planning to physically read a book? mine is @natalienaudus
in related news, i just bought the audiobook of max gladstone's newest, last exit & i'm so excited

Raheem, come on, you know who was making these calls.
Quote Tweet
Michael Wolff, Maggie Haberman, Jonathan Swan, Bob Costa, Bob Woodward...
Every single one of these "reporters" the Trump White House gave access and interviews to ended up BRUTALIZING them.
Who was making these calls? Appalling strategy.

Michael Wolff: “If it rings true, it is true.”
You also acknowledged in an author's note of Fire and Ice that you weren’t certain all of its content was true.
Maybe next time, just take your time and get it right. Rather than do this

For the record, I had no immediate outlet (one difference between a writer and reporters). And all of my Trump books were written at breakneck speed--quite before anyone else's books, and often anyone's articles.

Impressively, Michael Wolff adds not a single fact or idea to the Jeff Zucker story… except to remind us how inside he feels.
This is the way of the self-appointed gun.
