The "grievance studies" fields are an existential threat, ever expanding into STEM, corporations, governments, primary/secondary education, the arts, etc. So, yes, college can been seen as bad for America.

If recent big tech hires is any indication, colleges are all about indoctrination. Social justice is your major and maybe you might also learn to code.

As someone who actually went to college in the last decade, this is the complete opposite of what happened to me. I had a mix of political and economic viewpoints taught to me. One of my profs was slotted to be Romney advisor in 2012.
