College is not "bad for America" despite new poll. Most extreme cases of campus craziness get most media coverage, on which Republicans base their opinions. Most profs are not in indoctrination business. Threats to free speech are real but not existential.https://reason.com/2019/08/19/pew-survey-republicans-college-campus-safe-spaces/ …

The capture of essentially all social sciences by leftists certainly is more of a problem than you make it sound. And in fact it is indoctrination as alternative opinions are not allowed on most campuses in this country

Alternative opinions being a euphemism for nazi ideology?

The "grievance studies" fields are an existential threat, ever expanding into STEM, corporations, governments, primary/secondary education, the arts, etc. So, yes, college can been seen as bad for America.

adorno, löwenthal or fromm are dangerous for right wing extremists. true. that's why republicans want to erase him from history.

If recent big tech hires is any indication, colleges are all about indoctrination. Social justice is your major and maybe you might also learn to code.

As someone who actually went to college in the last decade, this is the complete opposite of what happened to me. I had a mix of political and economic viewpoints taught to me. One of my profs was slotted to be Romney advisor in 2012.
