And all we need to do to stop that? Payroll support. Up to $1,000 per worker, per week, in any affected company / industry. It will cost <$150B per week and relieve all those other burdens.

Unfortunately, it's either 1) fail to close = more people become infected/die and returning to "normalcy" will take longer, or 2) close = people lose their jobs, no money for food/health, bankruptcy. I don't envy the people who have to make these decisions on our behalf
