@BiobotAnalytics comment?@NewshaGhaeli@MarianaMatusG -
@BiobotAnalytics has not found evidence of substantially increased per capita fecal shedding among those infected with Delta, compared to Alpha or Wuhan. We are carefully monitoring whether Omicron will affect interpretation of WW data.https://biobotanalytics.medium.com/mass-vaccination-delta-and-wastewater-covid-19-data-1c143e3d96a3 … - Show replies

2021 MA state wide positive rates plotted alongside 2020 positive rates. The test rates typically lag the MWRA rates by at least a few days if not a week. Imagine if we had invested in pandemic control infrastructure in 2020!pic.twitter.com/fdT0R1gLjJ

Eg imagine if we had Covid testing tents in major squares in Boston and if you tested positive you received a free medical consultation, contact tracing was initiated, your employer was called, and you got a care package to support isolation. Would that drive down cases?

Has anyone studied whether mild infections (upper respiratory) shed as much in feces vs moderate or severe?
