The constitution explicitly legalized slavery - until it didn't. You don't have a divine right to own a gun. You have a societal right that can be taken away at any time, in case you're confused about how amendments work.

So, Jenny Sue, by this logic you think slavery was okay because...constitution? Was slavery a societal right?

You can post excerpts from the constitution all day, it didn't stop SCOTUS from revoking Chicago's restrictive gun laws. The Feds could go into Colorado or Washington at any time and raid the weed shops, too, since they're running afoul of federal laws. http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/06/28/us.scotus.handgun.ban/index.html …

According to the Heller decision, states cannot pass "any law" restricting guns that they want.

States cannot pass laws that limit freedoms granted by the constitution. Real simple stuff. If you want to take away guns, pass an amendment.

You're welcome to live in a world of your own imagining, but here on earth, SCOTUS decisions are enforced regardless of how you personally feel about them.

You thought you had a right to own a pair of shoes but that was the same logic they used to own slaves. Shame on you Michael!
