We advocate voluntary #crowdfunding for all government programs instead of involuntary taxation. This would be using the framework of our existing constitutional republic. We are proposing voluntaryism, not anarchy.

You are correct
@LibertyWeekly. We err on the side of realism to make our ideas as palatable as possible. We frequently do sacrifice principles to advance a system that would provide a more voluntaryist relationship between citizen and state.@hal_dunn will need to as well. -
I don't ever advocate sacrificing principles. So I am anarchist/volantaryist/ancap. I see both sides (libertarian minarchy vs. anarchy) because today we are so far away from either in our statist society. Realistically, anything moving in the right direction is a positive IMO.

@LibertyWeekly There are degrees. If you take a black and white principled approach to your politics, you may be correct, but you will never achieve consensus and political action. Slow change is much more realistic than revolution. Sorry that we're too realistic! -
I think the most realistic thing we can strive for is secession.

@LibertyWeekly We don't call ourselves anything. We lean voluntaryist and we're anti-statist, but as you've eloquently put it a number of times, we are not advocating pure voluntaryism and anti-statism. The real world requires realistic adaptations of ideology, not pure idealism. -
As long as an idea is spread and implemented voluntarily, I cannot attack on a moral "you compromise with slavery" level. I can, however, disagree on a practical level. But those are two very different things.
