Do any other female-types hate it when coworkers say things like, "Thanks, ladies"? Or is my visceral loathing unique?

I'm legit asking this. I want to know whether it's cool to tell a colleague to stop addressing groups of women as "ladies" in emails.
@chelseagsummers it's condescending. it's funny in person, where old-timey tongue-in-cheek nature is more clear.
