Maybe they are tired of dealing with the dregs of humanity. I onced heard a guy say they didn't even like being around other people because they offer nothing to the conversation. They have become a hermit, and their choice to do so is looking better and better

Mind rust. I often thank the police for@their service; and often you get this blank stare. One of my high school friends also has a blank stare. The is some corruption in the police hierarchy; but this is not new news: see Homicide; The Wire. We need more Pembleton’s.

My family was roughly half cops & half career criminals. The reunions were fun, everyone got along great. We were taught as kids they were all competitors in the same business.

I find that the most honest cops are the ones that admit they are in a gang.
