I would think if anyone would be the hardline outlier it would be Lincoln. His desire to keep the union together at any cost leads me to think he would've sent in the troops early to quell the riots. Thoughts?

The part of antifa that Jefferson would’ve hated most would be the urban-centric thinking. He was certainly of the thinking that urban areas created problems and an agrarian nation was a productive, happy, and peaceful one.

Communism has a place in our early colonial history. W. Bradford (Mayflower Pilgrim) wrote in his book/memoir "Of Plitmouth Plantation" that they tried the communistic approach and it failed miserably. He lays out why, and says they ditched it, essentially.
