Not every arrest ends in death. Really would like to know the ratio of arrests ended in lethal force over total arrests for a given year.

How many are bad apples (meaning maligned or purposefully abusive) vs just making a mistake? There have definitely been some with a history of abuse, but I wonder how many just screwed up in the worst possible way.

The system teaches cops to act that way. If they complain about another officer, they get fired. If they do something racist or oppressive, they're protected. Police Unions and the politicians in league with them made a system that encourages cops to be awful.
