I don't know all the lingo yet, I guess. What's a fedora (I know it's a hat) in this context? Atheists can be very militant. But, their lack of belief or druthers doesn't bother me. Why should it? Christians and others can be militant too.

Part of me wishes this was satire. The other part of me can't comprehend why an atheist would not just settle for agnostic; but then again, I have friends.

Many logical atheists will admit that no one can know for sure if a God exists. I, as an atheist, would argue the burden of proof is on those religious ones that make extraordinary claims about the nature of our existence without evidence.
