I would say it’s not effective and they don’t care. I don’t know that others are persuadable. The boomercons don’t have the skill set to persuade even if they were persuadable. Maybe I’m the ridiculous one for wanting the immutable parts of life to change for me.

Pointing out hypocrisy never works, totally ineffective in terms of persuasion (according to Scott Adams, iirc). I think it's more like they're part of a weird double-blind improv game where you can't see the other actor and just play off what the rules say theyre supposed to be.

Power is hypocrisy plus impunity.

One way to get folk to at least listen and consider is to project a villainous persona. If you communicate that, in no uncertain terms, "I don't care if you think I'm evil," you disarm the primary mechanism by which the SJW's shut down discourse and get normies to self censor.

I would say it’s effective once you look at how many of the black on black murders go unsolved and thus there is no justice. I think they care about black people ignoring that hypocrisy but don’t rly care about black people

No to both. I think there are two things going on here. 1) At root, it's an imitation of the late night show joke style. A similar lib "joke" might be red states take more welfare. 2) Talk radio repeats this line ad nauseum. Talk radio, not Fox News, is the heart of boomercondom.
