Broadly speaking, I tend to think it's vile to go after those of older generations who paved the path you now take and are trying their best The exceptions are when they are being antagonistic or aggressive She loves liberty and wants people to be free Thats my checklist

im glad i held my tongue and did my homework it is common--though not normal--on social media to come in guns blazing oftentimes people will try to sincerely engage after sneering at me but i dont do it you can always escalate to aggression later, deescalating is asymmetric

My concern is that (a) the anti-racism type of rhetoric will alienate potential libertarians. For me, it was a big turn-off, because it suggests that she might spend more time on performative statements than talking about real issues (civil asset forfeiture, drug war)

Well I think the major takeaway with this proposition here is that in order to have a Swiss equivalent in the USA you need racial separation by and large. Switzerland is not as multiracial country like Brazil, it is still primarily European.

OK, that's fine, but her mistake was pretty large and in my view shows: 1) A lack of understanding of what I consider the current ideological enemy and their tactics and 2) A weakness in terms of being able to truly stand up for what is right

While it may have been unpopular to be libertarian, in some ways, in the late 20th century it was nothing like today's environment. People weren't being assaulted or losing their jobs for being a libertarian.
