Personally I prefer inner party and outer party
But if the parties flipped, how can we know who the Real Racists™ are? It's a mystery
The two old parties have alternated between being the evil party and the stupid party. No change happened suddenly. It has always been a gradual transition.
Nothing was absolute during slavery or during Jim Crow. People were people. There are 330 m ppl in the country right now. How many total protesters went out, how many were looters, how many were rioters? They got all the attention. Ppl vote or stock up on ammo and you don't know.
Did the big exchange actually happen or not?
The Democratic Party controlled a lot of local legislators in the south until the 80’s and 90’s. Many of the moderate democrats switched parties and continued to win re-election. The switch happened due to wedge issues. It’s not ancient history.
I thought "the switch" was ideological beliefs between the parties, not party makeup within states.
