One of the most frustrating things for those who are "redpilled" is the gulf between how easy we think it should be to show people the matrix because of how obvious it is to us, and how difficult it actually is. Despite knowing this consciously it can still be surprising.

It's a hard fact for human nature. People don't want to be proven wrong. But lead them to draw their own conclusions and then it's a choice they have to make. If it feels like their idea they're much more open to it.

People look at muckraking and yellow journalism like it was an era or an outlier. It's what they do, period, it never stopped. The institution just got better at hiding it, until recently when it has decided it is powerful enough to act in open with no consequences.
