What are presented as the strongest arguments against anarchism are inevitably a description of the status quo.https://twitter.com/SOLDIERCIDE/status/1277386821308121088 …

Who makes the determination? What happens when I convince half the community that my way is the right way? What if I wage war on the other half.

Anyone choosing the latter keep in mind that the vigilante has no oversight. Police departments can be pressured by the public to change. A vigilante will have to compete with others for power and the most ruthless will win.

Anybody have any good recommendations for book on anarchism? I feel like I’m going to learn a lot about it indirectly from reading the new right, but figured there was a direct book about it that fans here might know about.

The paradox arises because we *are* radically free and reality is actually anarchy... Humans make choices in their given contexts. Some of those choices include banding together against other people and establishing governments or conforming to traditions or the will of leaders.

Best argument against a stateless society is probably that all the freedom and prosperity would cause normies to flock in and ruin in by establishing a state. That's when you get into the "physical removal so to speak" discussions.
