idk you sound ok to me. only way to get better than a yeti is to spend a lot more money on a real mic setup and mixer and stuff

The Shure SM7B is a pretty common condenser mic a lot of podcasters use, you can scream into it all day and it doesn't peak so long as you have the settings right.
-
Isn't it still a dynamic mic?

Honestly I'd try two things: Ditch the pop filter (not really needed) Speak closer to the mic (will sound more full, and reject more room reflections) which costs $0 We can test on Skype.

You need an AKG 214 -> an analog cable -> a usb/audio interface -> the computer. You can then even put the mic out of sight if you want, and increse the gain, it will pick you up beautifully
