Are you in favour of privatising fire brigades?

Private fire departments are already here, accounting for about 5% of US fire fighters. They make sense in some instances, like wildfires. They must be paid, of course, but many ppl already pay for public services if they live in rural areas where firefighters are outsourced.

I agree 100% with this statement yet I still cringe when I think about no government. I guess even though I realize it's there I can't completely break this feeling that we have to have government. They got me good I guess.

There could still be governance without the State. Companies have governing bodies, as well as clubs, and even certain neigborhoods for example. They key difference is the use of force vs voluntary association.

Twitter rando here: I spent 28 years in law enforcement and constantly made the case against the governmental, bureaucratic/political nonsense that inhibits good police work. I also advocated for the legalization of drugs, gambling and prostitution. My two cents.
