No one wants to point out that if George Floyd had resisted arrest he wouldn't have been any worse off and might have been in a lot better position.

When I saw the footage I imagined myself in the shoes of the bystanders. Would charging the cops to try and save a life be a worthwhile action? I doubt my own courage but it seems the right thing to do, and this footage might make this sentiment more common.

It’s much more difficult to rush to action than most people realize. But the cops that stood watching are accessories to murder.

Point well taken. If he complied and this happened, it would incentivize others to resist. If he resisted before this happened, it still proves the point, as he would be resisting b/c he’s seen situations like this in the past. No one wants to submit to people you can’t trust

Haven’t seen people talking about it but the second cop also needs to be charged. He looked back several times including after it was clear he lost consciousness and did nothing.

The public themselves are complicit in their continual support for the 2 party politicians who create these conditions and NEVER protect citizens against these code enthusiasts.

If the police are going to kill black men no matter what they do, then black men may as well react to the police in any manner they see fit.
