Smart politicians will double their media staff to create persuasive and viral content. Ahead of the trend is Kennedy: https://twitter.com/repjoekennedy/status/1259509557195419650?s=21 …https://twitter.com/RepJoeKennedy/status/1259509557195419650 …

Every politician, activist, lobbyist, even bureaucrat who are in their prime right now got their through their ability to play the corporate press game. The sculpted manifestations of that game were essentially a genuflection of the powerful.

Given that all these networks have alphabet soup style names like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CNBC, maybe it would be better to just think of them as federal agencies because for all intents and purposes they are.

The classic press conference where the noisy rabble confront the powerful was supposed to be about accountability to the masses. Now when some media hack blathers on about racism the masses turn them off.
