Disagree. A vote for a candidate is not a tacit endorsement of all of their policies and does not mean an individual must agree with them. This kind of thinking is classic American tribalism.

I've done that for over 30 years. It is symbolic at best. Four years ago the Libertarian Party had the perfect opportunity to accomplish something ... and they totally bungled it. There are effectively three choices, Democrat, Republican, no vote.
