It's not. I'm one of the lucky ones who has been working the whole time but I work in a credit union and every day I see the effects on our members. It was never worth it.

My state lifted most restrictions, including on gyms. Went for the first time in 3 months this morning. High fives were shared between strangers. The vibe was electric, jubilant. Maybe we all trauma bonded over this, and people won’t take each other for granted anymore.
