Sincere question: who in the 2020 Dem field would have been the choice most likely to beat Trump?
-
Pete Buttigieg feels like the most likely candidate to damage Trump. He is consistently the most articulate individual on the debate stage, his pronouncements are vague enough for everyone to project their hopes on, and he checks an intersectional category.

True, the rest of the Democratic party isn't to where the loudest most coastal elites are yet, and the dnc only cares about winning. If the party splits I don't see the truly dogmatic socialist wing allowing a SWM any attention though.

i believed that 100%. i thought after Obama, "it'll always be a non-white." after Hillary, "it'll never be a man again." i'm still not sure who the final nominee will be, but i'll be damned if they didnt try hard to run two white men in 2020.
