For me, it's far more important what you say than what name you use or if it's your photo. I use little characters because they're damn cute and I like them. I don't use my name because I don't make $ off my name & want some anonymity. But that's just me.

Yeah. I remember following people when i had just the egg for my profile pic. Got instantly blocked. Won't use my name though. I don't trust people to not be creepy stalkers.
