"Above average intelligence" means IQ>99 ...that's a pretty low bar, Scooter. So here we are explaining averages to a college graduate again; how meta.

Explaining averages to the corporate press is akin to explaining that pedophilia is a sin to a priest.

But above average IQ doesn't necessarily mean above average awareness of a person's own cognitive biases. Or maybe I'm wrong and there's a good study on that. Anyway, I suspect such awareness is a big part of "wisdom." That, combined with experience.

A key issue of that is that the college educated cultural elite are most susceptible to propaganda from the Cathedral far more than any rube, as they consume the media straight from the source. Midwits hold all the cultural capital, ironically pushing down on those below.

We see this in how the midwit elites switched positions on the coronavirus, from passivity to alarmism, due to simply accepting the propaganda. This newsletter is an excellent perspective on the matter, plus gives a couple rabbit holes to go down in: https://mailchi.mp/c54136410db6/human-nature-and-envy-9238860?e=3a69c177c0 …
