there is a certain type of person who insists on not answering open q's on twitter as intended for example: "Which celeb would you most want to have dinner with?" "None of them, they're all stupid." Can someone explain the psychology here? are they feeling powerful bc defiant?

It's a weird form of one upping someone, but instead of trying to come up with a relevant story related to your premise they just reject it and think they are cooler for doing it.

90% of them are probably anon accounts. That's the main problem, there's no negative reputation consequences for anons so they devolve into acid.
