Using "Deaths / 1M pop" metric for the US, in its incredibly shit state of testing data, not advised. "Deaths / 1M pop" makes more sense as metric for e.g. South Korea, which has implemented massive country-wide testing, and broadcasting of numbers transparently since long ago.

The average coronavirus case in the US is much more recent than in other countries, thus the death rate stat will seem lower.
