Thank you. One of my first life changing lessons in economics, was Mises's definition of rational thought.
-
Ie, that a rational thought is about a prediction of outcome. Whether that prediction yields that particular outcome or not is irrelevant. Rational thinking, is thinking, "if X, then Y" if Y fails to materialize, doesn't make it less of a rational decision.

The government doesn't exist to ensure people make rational decisions. The government doesn't have the best track record of making rational decisions itself.

We care more about Identity
inclusion than helping a problem as big as the best issue*. I remember when Govs used to care about demographics for future growth.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

One of my favorite Ron Paul moments at the 2 minute mark. He rightfully ridicules how stupid the prohibition argument is. The idea of the state trying to protect adults from themselves is also disturbing & the same arguments apply to alcohol.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T9n4nwxgaQg …

Also, I appreciate you using Mises' praxeological method for this. Considering junkies have clearly defined ends(i.e., to acquire and use heroin), the means they use to accomplish that are quite obviously rational since they achieve their goal.
