Sexual Personae, Paglia's seminal 1990 masterpiece, was rejected by 8 publishers over a 15 year period due to the numerous passages pertaining to how electable Kamala Harris would be in 2020. Looks like they've finally been vindicated!

Paglia has pretty generic political views. She’s extensively praised Dianne Feinstein and said she would be a great first female president. We all have our blind spots, and politics is hers.

As a writer and cultural critic, she may be one of the most brilliant alive. Anyone who has read Sexual Personae will find it hard to disagree. Politically though, she's a regular liberal democrat.

Plus, having interesting thoughts and being correct are different things. You don't have to be right all the time to be interesting and thought-provoking. Love listening to Paglia.

>great thinker She's an academic that agrees with your politics and ethics, a bit. A bit of a stretch...

She is a great thinker. She has broadened my understanding of culture more than anyone else. If you don’t think she has at least a unique worldview, you haven’t read any of her books.
