The trend of Church fires across Europe the last few years is nothing but an accident.

I tried being skeptical of this, but honestly I did not see any evidence that contradicted the official claims that it was a construction/renovation related accident.

When I was a kid my towns high school caught fire during renovations, it's definitely a real hazard. The fact that there is still no official cause leads me to doubt it was intentional, as there is no "if you don't think X happened, you're crazy" narrative.

At the same time if I was a supervisor on a renovation job for such an important building I would be shitting my pants that something might go wrong, and I would be incredibly careful to make sure every risk was minimized. Ultimately I think it was something intentional.
