We can surely expect all those agitating for the abolishment of our Electoral College to point to the fact that the Conservatives in Canada getting more votes but far fewer seats is unfair and a problem.

This seems obvious, but I guess it needs to be said. They’re.. two different things? Why not take what clearly works in one system, and ignore what doesn’t? I don’t hear the Left in the US saying your government should entirely remodel itself to look like Canada.

Canada has multiple parties, so the majority voted for a left leaning party, but different ones (liberal, green, NDP). Their system isn't the same at all.
