Formal introduction always. I make sure he's in the back yard, then bring them into the house or the garage so he can't see them coming and get wound up. Then i let him meet them under VERY close supervision.

We got really lucky with Luna. We adopted her when they were both just over a year old, and he hadnt grown into his dog aggression yet. They are best buds now, and she rules the house, despite him outweighing her by 40lbs.
