This observation never occurred to me; although after I read it, I felt like I kind of knew it somehow.

I can understand the humor behind dousing someone in a sticky substance, but I've also seen a kid have his head split wide open with a bike lock. To say milkshaking can't lead to actual violence is ignoring how easily things have escalated in the past.

The victim and friends/guards don't know it's harmless until after the attack. Paranoia (justified in my mind), is going to get some idiot attacker put in hospital, and it could very easily trigger real violence, on a large scale.

I get how this can be funny but humor has a one-upsmanship aspect to it. What happens when you run out of milkshake flavors? What comes next? Fries? Ketchup? Ranch dressing? Bleach? Petrol?
