Tweeting "what's your point?" is an attempt to imply that the target doesn't have one, but more often is a confession of resenting having to do mental work when things aren't spelled out explicitly.
you wouldnt in that case use the "whats your point" syntax

I never use that. I say, "Your point is?" I also never leave it at that. I usually have something more to add.
