It is worth noting how so few of the people correctly apologizing for piling on to that Covington kid are angry at the corporate press for having misled them.

I think a lot of people give up on caring or trying to find accurate news sources. It might be laziness, but people have lives to live and don't feel like having to do research. That's the real tragedy of having dishonest media.

Ok I have seen the video a few times. What I saw was a kid, who looks like an arrogant entitled shit, not a crime, and an elderly gentleman playing a drum, who looks equally arrogant. No one got hurt. No words were said. What's the problem

The BHI were the worst part of the entire incident and frankly the least mentioned

No because they will do it again tomorow, I'm sure they had meetings and the subject was brought up and the answer was "Well maybe we will have better luck next time smearing anyone that has wrong thought."

Would even had made the air, or gone viral if the kid wasn't wearing a MAGA hat? I doubt it. Rignt on tbe heels of the #buzzfeed thing, ittwas a gift that this landed in the laps so the #MSM could get back to business as usual.

In a rush to quickly put the story out, they rarely bother to do any research first. And their bias led the way, omitting full context. They’re used to getting away with it. Micheal Moore built a career on omitting context.

Not misled. Willing participants who didn't do a minimum of fact checking before attacking. A 2 minute search would have produced enough results to at least cause an iota of doubt. They read a headline and their confirmation bias kicked in.
