Let's be specific: "these people" are a radical (& very problematic) segment of the Left. Thankfully, most Americans are neither far Left nor far Right - because they both suck. They are both out of touch with real America.

If you want to know what I actually believe, this is it. Left vs Right is a dangerously stupid false choice. The extremes of both political poles are full of closed thinking. Political dogma is a virus. *Skepticism and compassion is the way forward* http://medium.com/@johnkirbow/on-the-principles-and-core-values-of-a-new-center-movement-7270cab42415 …

You have no interest in the new center movement of reason and scientific thinking that millions are waking up to? More are rejecting the Left vs Right false choice, and the dogma and tribalism on both ends This is worth noting

I understand, that's totally fine. It's the ideas and greater principles that matter. I always tell liberals & conservatives, you don't have to give a damn about me or like me, but please reflect on the problems within your own side. *And seek to improve our broken discourse*

Michael, this is why I am so frustrated and fed up with the state of American discourse. I know we can be better than this. If you disagree with anything in my original post, *please tell me specifically where and why*. If I'm wrong, I'll happily change my mindpic.twitter.com/trybJM5vxK

Centrism is the idea you can pick a hodgepodge of “Left” and “Right” ideas and someone else can take the exact opposite stance on those issues, but you are both correct because you’re both Centrists

This is not how I describe the * new centrism * It's a style of thinling. Its about rejecting all forms of dogma and tribal nonsense within politics, & demanding an evidence based approach.

Can you name a specific thing you disagree with in my original tweet? I'm sure the short wording can always be improved. But what concept am I wrong on?

I ask because you retweeted me with trash talk. Which is fine, I'm not the slightest offended. But can you back it up? Where specifically am I mistaken? Where specifically am I wrong?

There is a big difference between one being personally uninterested in what *I believe*, vs the larger principles I'm trying to convey. If you cannot see this distinction I don't know what to say.

Also, I clearly stated that no one need care about me or my views, but that it is wise to *not ignore or dismiss the larger points I was making*. Once again, no one is 'demanding' anything. Its freaking Twitter If you cannot see this basic distinction, I dont know what to do
