he's right more often than 99.9% of the population and his book is one of the most valuable ones ever written IMO if he's self-satisfied, he's earned it A Renegade History: https://amzn.to/2EBHfQl https://twitter.com/thomstern/status/1074741955593207808 …

Your placing him in Einstein / Isaac Newton territory is mental IMO. Also, writing a entertaining book with a good thesis and being a horrible PoMo academic, are not mutually exclusive. Incidentally, this book makes a great Christmas gift: https://www.amazon.com/Dear-Reader-Unauthorized-Autobiography-Jong/dp/1495283259 …

Einstein has never written a particularly valuable book, to my knowledge A book can be extremely valuable without competing with Newton or Einstein

Now you’re goal posting. But I agree with your new statement. Still, it’s difficult to listen to this and not think Russell represents what’s wrong with academia. His position can’t even withstand minimal pushback from Rogan who certainly doesn’t have a degree in gender studies.

I support your support of his book. I don’t support your assertion that “he's right more often than 99.9% of the population”. This is my evidence:https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6Wz25ljfpA0 …

99.9% is an incredibly modest claim. Most people bring nothing to the table and are clueless I am familiar with that clip. I stand by my claim

Now you’re trolling. But on the off chance you’re not, ok. And “never the twain shall meet” on this topic. Incidentally, my invitation for ramen at Rai Rai Ken still stands. But I think after this exchange, your buying. DMs are open...pic.twitter.com/YfKED9FuZE
