If the company had corporate investors with interests of there own I would understand Beck not speaking up. However, it is my understanding that Beck is the sole owner of the company here. Would that not change the equation and if not why?

The average person has no idea what a Board of Directors does. I think it’s incredibly common that people overestimate the authority a CEO has.
-
A CEO’s actual authority is severely limited by their mandate from the board of directors, previous commitments they’ve made, what authority they’ve delegated away, and the expectations of everybody around them. To say nothing of limitations in budget, time, and attention.

What if his limited practical value due to the lack of participation in social media? How can he command much value in a competitive negotiation? Wouldn’t he have a legitimate reason to walk from a low $$ deal.

The Blaze was reportedly shopping for buyers. DailyWire was reportedly looking months ago. Just because the new venture kept the Blaze branding doesn’t mean Beck’s running the show.
-
I have no idea how their corporate structure works(other than knowing they have co presidents) but you are right...we shouldnt assume beck calls the shots!

Why does everyone assume Beck is running things? Like was there a disclosure / document drop I missed?
-
Because Beck is a Judah's goat who will temper and coopt the others.
