There will be a vote for the Moderate candidate to be PM in Swedish parliament next week. Parties from his own Alliance have already said they're voting no, refusing support from the nationalist Sweden Democrats. It takes 4 such votes to fail to trigger a new election.

Officially they are conservative/liberal-conservatives, moderates. Right-wing on the Swedish spectrum, centrist in reality. As is the case with most of Europe's old conservative parties.
