        Also assumes a college education gives people a better grasp on how to govern 325m people. Little sign that's true, but a few years of classes and a piece of paper can certainly bias people towards thinking they know how society should function.

        Everybody's born liberal. Under normal circumstances, they grow out of it at age 5, but state-owned, union-run schools suspend their developement.
