Also assumes a college education gives people a better grasp on how to govern 325m people. Little sign that's true, but a few years of classes and a piece of paper can certainly bias people towards thinking they know how society should function.

You know what gives me pause? The amount of college educated people who have to work at Starbucks because their degree has no practical application. Real geniuses.
