In 2013 the 2 major parties in Germany received a combined total of 67% of the vote. One year ago they received a combined total of 53.5% of the vote. Now they total 43-45% in polling. This is the wreckage of the consensus and IMO is largely irrevocable.

Those big 2 parties got 57% in 2009. What's to say that there couldn't be a similar shift back up in the next decade?
