eh i dont really care about squats. i guess because i was doing a crazy amount on the leg press before i figured out how to squat

Oh yes it is. Caloric surplus, protein, and hypertrophic my training busts sleeves, but it’s still about 75% diet/25% training methodology

If it works, keep it up then! If progress stalls, trying upping caloric intake ~200cals a day until progress comes back. New cals should come from carbs (assuming you’re already consuming 1g protein per pound of nw)

im on a cut! when i was bulking i looked terrible. getting super lean now and then doing lean gains. if i was 190 lean at my height id look insane
