I'm curious how this plays out without tactile feedback of a controller, which atleast has buttons and vibration. And learning gestures that the camera can see.

HT's prevalence across XR hardware (LeapMotion, Magic Leap One, Hololens, ARKit+CoreML, now Oculus and Vive) means at the very least the major players consider it indispensable. Like eye tracking it's not a be-all-end-all for user input but definitely has its use cases.

It's quite easy to get working but the jitter and shakiness makes it unusable right now.. Hopefully it improves. I'll have to see how this version is.

I guess it’s time I crack open my Vive pro, been a while. I was expecting I would need to get the Index Controllers to support finger tracking.
