Germany "pausing" Nordstream 2 is an empty gesture. Germany wasn't scheduled to certify until the summer anyway. Putin knows Germany is dependent on Russia for half of their energy needs & is betting on Germany's domestic politics to soften its resolve. Sadly, it's a safe bet.
